Charleston Southern University invites applications for an Instructor or Assistant Professor of Physics beginning August 1, 2023. Charleston Southern seeks candidates who are professing Christians, committed to excellence in teaching, scholarship, and service. They should support the goals of a strong liberal arts education and be willing to explore with students the integration of faith and learning.
Ph.D. or Master’s in Physics. Applicants should have experience teaching introductory physics at the undergraduate level. Preference given to candidates with experience in astronomy and asynchronous online instruction.
Teach 24 semester hours per academic year of undergraduate coursework in introductory physics and astronomy; attend and participate in departmental and university functions and serve on committees as required.
