Tenure-track Faculty Position in Engineering

The Department of Chemistry and Physics at Ouachita Baptist University invites applications for a tenure-track position in Engineering with a preferred start date of January 2022. All qualified candidates will be considered, but preference will be given to those who have a PhD in engineering or a PE and experience in the field. The successful candidate will exhibit excellent teaching in the context of a liberal arts education, a collegial commitment to professional, university, and community service, and a Christian commitment consistent with the mission of the University. Responsibilities will include teaching a wide range of general engineering courses, possible CORE contribution, and the development of new engineering courses as part of a new program that will be seeking accreditation. Rank and salary are dependent on qualifications.
