RESPONSIBILITIES:
The primary teaching responsibility is conducting the Baylor Women’s Choir. Additional
teaching responsibilities will include courses in Conducting, Choral Literature, or Music
Education. Further responsibilities in this 12-month position include assisting with
choral events, camps, conferences, and other administrative duties as assigned. The
Lecturer will also be expected to cultivate and maintain professional relationships
with choral musicians in schools and churches in the state, and other duties as
assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Doctorate in Music preferred, Master of Music required
• Success as a choral conductor at the secondary and/or collegiate level
• Public school teaching certification preferred
RANK AND SALARY:
• Rank and salary commensurate with experience and qualifications
