The Rogers Department of Communications at Ouachita Baptist University invites applications for a non tenure-track faculty position beginning Fall 2021. A master’s degree in communications or related area is required.  Ideal candidates should have prior teaching experience. Teaching responsibilities include 12 hours (4 courses) per semester in the visual media and film emphasis, including courses in video production, motion picture production, broadcast journalism, and public speaking. Additional responsibilities include managing the television production studio and equipment, assisting the director of the Ouachita Sports Digital Network, supervising and mentoring video work study and practicum students, academic advising, serving on university committees, and assisting with recruitment of prospective students. 

Ouachita Baptist University is located in Arkadelphia, Arkansas. The university has approximately 1,500 students, of which 95% live on campus.
